Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and market expansion efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the SVP will oversee the Sales and Account Management teams, which include two Vice Presidents reporting directly into this role. The SVP will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales vision, optimizing processes, and fostering a high-performance culture across the sales function. This role is based in Boston, MA, and requires a leader capable of scaling sales efforts across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise-level clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the overall sales function, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Sales and Account Management teams, including two direct VP-level reports.
- Drive the creation and execution of go-to-market plans, ensuring effective targeting and resource allocation across key geographies and industries.
- Collaborate closely with the CRO to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure cohesive strategies and seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior sales leader, preferably in a SaaS or technology-focused organization.
- Track record of successfully managing and scaling sales teams.
- Strong expertise in selling to SMB, mid-market, and enterprise clients.
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive results in fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for motivating teams and building lasting relationships.
